It isnt charging at all
Answer: The two that I have charge up if I leave them on my window ledge, I am also able to charge them by plugging them into the USB ports on my television. I have used them on three camping holidays so far this year. -

I bought this, and it is not charging. Initially it did, but on the 2nd attempt to charge it, nothing happened... total waste of money
Answer: I would return it, my friend ordered the same and her first one wouldn't charge either, returned for a new one and all is good. -

How long is the cable for the solar panel
Answer: There is no cable for the solar panel, it is integrated in to the top. You need to put the whole thing out side to charge. (as mine is a blackout bedroom. It may charge in a normal tent. -

What is the range of the remote control
Answer: I have the light suspended in my chicken run, so I activate it when I open the door which is only about 6’ away. I have tried from outside the door (wire mesh) and the remote doesn’t work however I don’t know whether the remote is out of range or being hampered by the metal frame and wire mesh. -

How do you firstly charge it ?
Answer: With the USB charging cable. NB I find that with shorter daylight hours in the winter I occasionally have to top-up the solar charging with USB charging too. -
Question:
What kelvin rating is the light? it looks like a garish 6000k in the manufacturers info. i am looking for softer natural light of 3000k
Answer: I'm not sure of the kelvin, but there is a harsh and dim setting. Flashing and sos. I find mine just right.
