Answer: It can cut from the middle if you drill a large enough hole to start. -

Answer: The kit may come with a spare double-ended punch, but they may also be available for purchase online. -

Would this work to cut up an old central heating oil tank? Also, would a cordless drill be OK?
Answer: I cut a lid off an oil drum with an 18volt cordless drill, so it should work depending on the thickness of the metal. -

Does it come with a circle cutting attachment?
Answer: No, the nibbler oscillates and cuts small crescent shapes. You can rotate the metal or plastic to cut any desired shape. -

Why does it have two cutting heads? What thickness of mild steel is it designed to cut?
Answer: Two cutting heads are for convenience. It can cut up to 1.2mm thick mild steel. -
Question:
Do you always get a bigger hole from the stepper than the cut line? And how hard is it to cut contoured box profile?
Answer: It's better to start with a step hole and cut along the waste side of the metal until you reach the desired start point. It can cut contour and box profiles easily. -
Question:
How long do the blades last? I need to cut 6x 1 meter wide sheets of corrugated galvanized metal 0.7mm thick. Will I need to order spare cutters?
Answer: I haven't had mine for long, but it comes with a spare double-ended cutter. It had no problem cutting 2mm aluminum quickly.
