- Sahîh-i Buhârî Muhtasarı: Tecrîd-i Sarîh Tercemesi ve Şerhi, temel İslâm kültürünün dilimizde sahih bir biçimde ifade edilmesi projesinin bir parçası olarak, devrin en liyâkatli âlim ve düşünürlerinden Babanzâde’ye teklif edilen bir vazifenin ürünüdür. Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır’ın tefsiri Hak Dini Kur’ân Dili ile birlikte Tecrîd-i Sarîh Tercemesi ve Şerhi, İslâmî ilimlere dair Osmanlı’dan günümüze intikal eden en kıymetli eserlerin başında gelir. Elinizdeki eser, Babanzâde Ahmed Naim’in ilmî âdâbını, titizliğini ve şahsiyetini en berrak biçimde yansıtan eserlerden biridir. Babanzâde bu çalışmasında, Sahîh-i Buhârî’nin Arapça hadis metninin mânâ derinliğini koruyarak Türkçenin imkânlarını büyük bir incelikle kullanır, ayrıntılı ve titiz notlarıyla birlikte eserini bir tercüme olmaktan çıkararak telif kıymeti taşıyan bir hüviyete kavuşturur. Hadis ilminin temel meseleleri, rivayet farklılıkları, fıkhî açıklamalar ve şahsiyet tahlilleri; metin boyunca açık, ölçülü ve sağlam bir üslûpla ele alınır. Bu neşir, Babanzâde’nin hazırladığı ilk üç cildi esas alır: Müellifin sağlığında Arap harfleriyle yayımlanan ilk iki cilt Latin harflerine aktarılmış, üçüncü cilt ise ilk baskısı temel alınarak yeniden dizilmiştir. Tercüme edilen hadislerin ve dipnotlardaki rivayetlerin kaynakları titizlikle gösterilmiş, ana hadislerin Sahîhayn’daki (Buhârî ve Müslim) yerleri, gerektiğinde Kütüb-i Sitte ve Kütüb-i Tis‘a gibi diğer muteber hadis kaynaklarıyla birlikte tespit edilmiştir. Metin boyunca referans gösterilen İslâmî ve Batılı kaynakların asılları, mümkün mertebe dipnotlarla sunulmuş; açıklayıcı notlarla, okuyucunun sağlıklı bir biçimde takip edebilmesi hedeflenmiştir.
