What is Performance PavePatch used for?

Performance PavePatch is designed for repairing cracks and potholes in concrete and asphalt surfaces. With its durable formulation, it provides a long-lasting solution that restores the integrity of roads, driveways, and sidewalks. Ideal for both residential and commercial properties, this product effectively fills voids and creates a smooth finish, preventing water infiltration and further damage.

How much area does 1 gallon of Performance PavePatch cover?

One gallon of Performance PavePatch can cover approximately 8 square feet, depending on the depth of the cracks being repaired. This makes it suitable for various repair tasks, from small potholes to larger cracks. For optimal results, ensure the surface is clean and properly prepared before application to maximize the coverage and effectiveness.

Can Performance PavePatch be used for asphalt repairs?

Yes, Performance PavePatch is specifically formulated to be effective for both concrete and asphalt repairs. This versatility allows users to address various surfaces with a single product. Whether you're fixing a driveway or a road, its strong adhesion ensures that repairs withstand heavy traffic and harsh weather conditions.

What temperature is suitable for applying Performance PavePatch?

For best results, Performance PavePatch should be applied when temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F. This range ensures optimal adhesion and curing. Applying it under ideal conditions allows the product to perform effectively, ensuring that your repairs last longer and resist premature deterioration.

Does Performance PavePatch need to be mixed before application?

No, Performance PavePatch comes ready to use and does not require mixing. This convenience makes it user-friendly, allowing for easy application right out of the container. Simply pour the product into the prepared crack or hole and spread it evenly for a smooth finish, saving you time and effort.

How long does it take for Performance PavePatch to cure?

Performance PavePatch typically requires around 24 hours to cure fully, depending on environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. During this time, it's important to keep traffic off the repaired area. Once fully cured, the patch will be strong and durable, ready to withstand regular use.

Can Performance PavePatch be painted over once cured?

Yes, once Performance PavePatch is fully cured, it can be painted over to match the surrounding surface. This feature allows for aesthetic consistency, particularly for driveways or streets where appearance matters. Choose a compatible paint formulated for concrete or asphalt to ensure a strong bond and lasting finish.

How should I prepare the surface before applying Performance PavePatch?

Preparation is key for effective repairs. Begin by cleaning the area of any debris, dirt, or loose material. For deeper cracks, use a chisel or wire brush to create a clean edge. This will help Performance PavePatch adhere better and ensure a smooth, long-lasting repair. Properly preparing your surface can significantly improve the outcome.

Can I use Performance PavePatch in wet conditions?

It is not recommended to use Performance PavePatch in wet conditions, as moisture can hinder its bonding effectiveness. The ideal application surface should be dry to ensure that the product adheres properly and cures effectively. Wait for dry conditions to maximize performance and durability of the repair.
