Spank Stems E06SL12A0710SPK Editorial Review
The Spank Split Stem has received a positive reception from customers, who Consistently praise its quality and performance. Users note that the stem effectively enhances their biking experience, particularly on trails. Many buyers appreciate the thoughtful design features, such as the 33mm board clamp distance, which suits their preferred reach and allows for optimal weight distribution on the front wheel. The addition of washers on the bolts prevents overtightening and enhances longevity by minimizing corrosion, thanks to O-rings placed on the top cap and bolts. Notably, users have highlighted the aesthetic versatility of the stem, as the black color with white markings blends well with various bike color schemes. Another significant advantage mentioned is the stem's low stack height, allowing users to eliminate spacers for better fit and customizing the bike setup. Additionally, the wide clamp face offers a secure connection without compromising flex, making it an appealing choice in an era where many products are designed around larger 35mm bars. However, some users have faced the disappointment of needing to return the stem due to color mismatches with their bike. Overall, the Spank Split Stem stands out as a well-Constructed, stylish, and effective component for trail enthusiasts looking for reliable performance and aesthetics. **
