Can you build without using the screws?
Answer: You can. But in this way the blocks may easily come off like other brands' building blocks. As the screws are to strengthen the up-and-down structure in order to make the whole product sturdy, we still strongly recommend customer to build with screws. -

I received the english bulldog for christmas, just went to build it and there appears to be missing parts? no screws. only 3 bags of just bricks?
Answer: Yes, you should have at least 5 different bags of screws. You will need them too since some of the bricks don't hold well on their own. Suggest you reach out to the manufacturer. It sounds like you may have all the bricks though.
