Answer: I have found that lace up offers more support especially on uneven or cross country circuits. I find that the elastic on the pull on models deteriorates over time and hard use therefore not offering a secure fit. For casual runs pull on sneakers would be adequate but for rugged prolonged treks lace up is ideal. -
