Toastmaster Electric Glass Kettle by Select Brands - with Color Changing LED Indicators & Stainless Steel Tea Infuser - Cordless Hot Water Kettle

The Toastmaster Electric Glass Kettle by Select Brands offers a range of features and functionality that has garnered mixed reviews from customers. Many users initially appreciate its ease of use and the convenience it brings to their daily routines, remarking on its sturdy Construction and straightforward cleaning process. The inclusion of color-changing LED indicators and a stainless steel tea infuser is also a highlight for those who enjoy brewing tea, adding a touch of modernity to the kettle's design. However, several users have expressed concerns regarding temperature control and the design aspects of the kettle. The kettle maintains temperature effectively, but the on-and-off cycling to keep the temperature can lead to fluctuations of up to 10 degrees — a challenge for those who prefer precise temperature control for steeping. The lid’s design has also been critiqued, as some users find the steeper difficult to detach and suspect that it may not be intended for regular removal. Another point of contention involves the presence of plastic components, including a rim under the lid that comes into contact with steam and water, and a plastic covering for the LED light. While not a dealbreaker for everyone, those seeking a completely plastic-free experience might be disappointed. Reliability seems to be a significant concern, as multiple users reported that their kettles failed to power on after a few months. This lack of durability is a notable drawback, as prior experience with other brands indicates that customers have expected longer-lasting products. In summary, the Toastmaster Electric Glass Kettle appears to be a user-friendly product that performs well initially but raises questions about longevity and precise temperature management, which could deter potential buyers seeking a more robust and eco-friendly option. **
