Sangean Aviation Handheld Radios ATS-909X2 Editorial Review
SANGEAN ATS-909X2, Ultimate FM/SW/MW/LW/Air Multi-Band Radio offers versatile reception across various frequency bands. Users appreciate the AM reception quality, which allows excellent station variety, with many enjoying it best when paired with high-impedance antennas. Despite some initial technical difficulties experienced with antenna input and tuning wheel functionality, many find the overall performance impressive. The tuning mechanism is user-friendly with a ridged thumb wheel feature, making it easier to navigate across bands. However, issues like malfunctioning features and antenna drops have been noted, highlighting the varying quality control of units. If you're in search of a reliable multi-band radio, the 909X2 presents a compelling option, requiring careful attention to setup for optimal performance.
