Oliso Pro VAC-SNAP Food Storage Bags for Oliso Vacuum Sealers (Large, 1 Gallon, 10 Bags)
The Oliso Pro VAC-SNAP Bags for Oliso Vacuum Sealers are reusable bags designed to work with the Oliso vacuum sealer. These bags are advertised as being suitable for sous vide cooking, but it is mentioned that regular zip lock bags can be used with the water displacement method as a cheaper alternative. The bags are said to be durable and protect the contents well. Customer reviews for the product are mixed. Some customers have expressed disappointment with the bags, stating that they do not clean well and cannot be used for multiple uses as advertised. There are also complaints about the difficulty in sealing the bags and the inconvenience of having to tear the bag to remove food. Some users have also mentioned that certain items, such as cheese, breads, veggies, and cookies, tend to get smooshed together and create a mess when thawed. There is also mention of a change in the thickness of the bags, with some customers noticing that the bags purchased in 2019 were thicker than the ones purchased recently. The impact of this change on the performance of the bags is yet to be determined. Overall, the Oliso Pro VAC-SNAP Bags for Oliso Vacuum Sealers have received mixed reviews, with some customers finding them to be a convenient and effective solution for vacuum sealing, while others have had issues with durability and functionality.
