The Aviation Radio Receiver DIY Kit is a Chinese clone of the simpler Ramsey Electronics airband receiver which can be assembled into a good end result provided you know what you're doing in electronics. It requires a 12V power supply and a PCB board size of 9.2×7.5cm. However, parts were missing from the kit and the schematic and instructions are poorly printed and not well documented at all. Those with electronic experience can successfully build it but novices will be disappointed. Some customers had to make their own parts list and look over the internet for any help. Another company on eBay offers the same kit with a case and better paperwork, and customers should research other sites before buying.
