TORREY Postal Scales Editorial Review
The TORREY SR 50100 Electronic Digital Shipping Scale with Large Display and Backlight is a great product for weighing needs. It has a Consistent and accurate reading, and it is resettable to zero each time weighed. It is not waterproof, it has a coiled cord that can stretch out to about 48" long, and it is not legal for trade. The newer models use a 6 Volt Nihm battery with a 2 pin female connector that is Green. Customers have had issues with inConsistent readings, dead batteries, and some packages giving different readings, though these seem to be infrequent. One customer found that the scale has a level bubble that incorporates onto the face of the weigh area and must be leveled to provide accuracy. The feet are adjustable, which takes about a minute. Customers have found the scale to be great for weighing feed for livestock and for shipping needs.
