Additionally, it allows customers to save money instead of replacing the entire carrier assembly. The door swivels on two plastic prongs that easily slide into the bracket itself. Customers should be cautious while installing them to avoid breaking the new door. The endcaps worked flawlessly for users who had sewer hose holders with tubes of 4-1/2" size, but neither one would fit the outer tube of the D&W sewer housing, as it contains 2 tubes, of which one slides inside the other for length adjustment. The new endcaps worked out better than the original for some, as they did not match with what they previously had exactly, but with slight adjustment. RecPro sells two endcaps. They can be glued on the pipe using contact cement or silicone adhesive, but some customers mounted them with aluminum rivets to ensure the pipe does not separate from the telescopic tube.
