The box is Constructed with 3/4" MDF and has reinforcement. The speaker provides good sound quality, especially in the 30-40Hz range, and can handle heavy-duty bass. The terminals, however, are weak and may need to be replaced. The media could not be loaded, though. Some customers have experienced echo or barrel-like sound, but this is subjective and may depend on speaker compatibility.
