What are bone conduction headphones?

Bone conduction headphones, like the SHOKZ OpenMove, transmit sound through the cheekbones directly to the inner ear, bypassing the eardrum. This technology allows you to experience music while keeping your ears open, ensuring awareness of your surroundings. They are particularly beneficial for outdoor activities like running or cycling, as they enhance safety by allowing ambient sounds to be heard alongside your audio.

Are the SHOKZ OpenMove headphones suitable for workouts?

Absolutely! The SHOKZ OpenMove headphones are designed specifically for active users. They are sweatproof and lightweight, making them ideal for intense workouts and outdoor activities. With their open-ear design, you can enjoy music or podcasts without blocking ambient sounds, ensuring you stay aware of your surroundings during your sessions. This combination makes them perfect for runners, cyclists, and gym enthusiasts alike.

How do I connect the SHOKZ OpenMove to my device?

Connecting the SHOKZ OpenMove headphones is straightforward. Simply turn on the headphones and activate Bluetooth on your smartphone or compatible device. They will search for available devices and appear in the list. Select 'SHOKZ OpenMove', and you're all set! Once connected, you can easily control playback and manage calls directly from the headphones, making them convenient for workouts or while on the go.

Can I use the SHOKZ OpenMove headphones while swimming?

The SHOKZ OpenMove headphones are not waterproof and are designed for sweat-resistant use during sports and workouts. While they are suitable for activities like running, cycling, and gym workouts, they should not be submerged in water or used for swimming. For aquatic activities, look for specifically designed waterproof headphones.

How do I clean my SHOKZ OpenMove headphones?

To keep your SHOKZ OpenMove headphones in top condition, gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging them in water. Make sure to focus on the areas around the speakers and the headband, as these can accumulate sweat and dust during workouts. Regular cleaning will enhance performance and prolong the lifespan of your headphones.

What is included in the sticker pack that comes with the headphones?

The sticker pack included with the SHOKZ OpenMove headphones offers a fun way to personalize your gear. It typically features various designs that allow you to customize your headphones or other gear, creating a unique look that suits your style. This feature adds a personal touch, making your headphones feel more like your own. You can showcase your personality while enjoying high-quality sound!

How long does the battery last on the SHOKZ OpenMove?

The SHOKZ OpenMove headphones boast an impressive battery life, allowing you to enjoy up to six hours of continuous music playback and calls. This endurance makes them suitable for long training sessions or extended commutes. With quick charging capabilities, you can also get back to enjoying your audio in no time, ensuring you stay connected and entertained throughout your day.

Are these headphones comfortable for long periods?

Yes, the SHOKZ OpenMove headphones are designed for long-term comfort. Their lightweight design and open-ear fit reduce pressure on the eardrums, allowing you to wear them for hours without discomfort. This makes them ideal for long runs, workouts, or casual use. Users have reported a pleasant experience without the fatigue often caused by traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones.

Can others hear the sound from my SHOKZ OpenMove headphones?

Generally, sound leakage from the SHOKZ OpenMove headphones is minimal due to their design. However, since they do not enclose the ear, some audio may be audible to those around you at higher volumes. This characteristic enhances safety during outdoor activities by keeping you aware of your surroundings while providing a personal listening experience.
