The AcuRite 01540M 5-in-1 Weather Station uses 4 AA batteries and has a 18 second interval update for wind speed. It has a mounting bracket, but the mounting pole needs to be purchased separately. It does not come with a lightning indicator or store historical data. To set up remote access, a computer is required initially. It is not compatible with the AcuRite weather app. Most buyers appreciated the display and found it easy to read. Some customers found the rain gauge to be sensitive and tricky to calibrate, and the dimmed dial was not ideal for use in a bedroom. Buyers also found it easy to mount and connect to WiFi, but some found the device could be more integrated with today's technology. Overall, there were mixed reviews regarding the accuracy of the device, with some customers finding that the temperature was off by 5 to 10 degrees and that it was not accurate in detecting rain. There were also some complaints about the product only working for a couple of weeks.
