Will this system work on stainless steel?
Answer: Yes. Plate copper first, then the nickel. -

Can I plate nickel over zinc with this?
Answer: You would need to Flash Copper first. We have a copper/nickel combo kit. -

Does it include everything you need to get started
Answer: It has everything you need to electroplate. The item you are plating needs to be polished and cleaned first. -

Will this system allow me to plate a 3d print in silver? I know i need to coat it first in nickel
Answer: You first have to lay down a conductive paint over the PLA/ABS. MGCHEMICALS Sells some as do others. Once’s that’s down sand for the best finish then apply nickel and then silver -

Will this system work on lead?
Answer: Lead needs to be activated first with one of our products called Pickle #4. After activation, you could use this kit to plate it. -
Question:
If I want to plate copper on steel, do I need to plate a nickel layer first? or a different kit altogether?
Answer: You can use our Flash Copper kit to plate copper directly onto steel. -
Question:
Can you plate wood
Answer: If you paint your wood with a conductive paint, you can plate it. -

Does this come with one quart of copper and one quart nickel?
Answer: 8 fluid ounces of each
